Creamy Garlic Mushroom Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook until golden brown on both sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and garlic, sautéing until mushrooms are tender.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing to a simmer. Return the chicken to the skillet, cooking in the sauce for about 10 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
